In order to receive an allocation of NMTC from the CDFI Fund, you must first be certified as a Community Development Entity (CDE). The basic requirements to be a CDE are: ● Be a legal entity at the time of application; ● Have a primary mission of serving Low-Income Communities (LICs);    AND ● Maintain accountability to the residents of targeted LICs. If you don’t meet these basic qualifications, you can’t be a CDE and receive your own NMTC Allocation. If you do meet these qualifications, there is an application procedure.  Contact us to help you get the process moving and start benefiting from NMTC allocations.   CDAA has helped 22 organizations become CDEs. Let us help you.
